Natural and Effective Healing
Ozone therapy is one of the most natural and beneficial adjunct therapies we can offer for animals. Ozone therapy has been used for over 100 years and in other parts of the world it is a reliable and effectve treatment in human hospitals. By increasing oxygen in the body it decreases inflammation and activates the body’s immune system which can reduce pain and heal damaged tissue and joints.
Ozone therapy can aid in treating any type of infectious disease due to its anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal nature. Amazingly, ozone therapy has also been shown to provide many health benefits for treating cancer by inducing an oxygen rich environment and reducing cancer cells. As you can tell we are very excited about ozone therapy and we feel that integrating it into regular holistic treatments can benefit your pet in so many ways.
Ozone therapy is safe for all species when used with appropriate dosing and instrumentation. The gas produced is administered and never inhaled and only given in precise therapeutic doses. Ozone can be administered in a variety of ways depending on the condition being treated, such as subcutaneously (direct injection), insufflation (blowing gas), and topical application.
For example, it is common to routinely flush your pets ears with ozonated saline. Another method is to use a process called ozone ear insufflation to gently puff ozone air into the ear canal. Ear insufflation treatment addresses health conditions associated with the ear as well as systemic issues elsewhere in the body because ozone is absorbed through the skin into the blood vessels in the ear canal. Another way to utilize the benefits of ozone is through a rectal treatment in conjunction with microbiome restorative therapy.
Ozone therapy can benefit just about any health condition because ozone helps create healthier cells in the body. People often report that they see increased energy in their pet following a treatment. It is also a great maintenance or preventative measure to keep your dog or cat in optimal health.
